Truly stunning and rare late teens to early 1920s flame stitched deep chocolate brown silk long jacket and skirt edged in black rabbit fur- large buttons on front of jacket and accents on sides of skirt and side of sleeves above fur cuffs.
The skirt is not truly a 'skirt' in that it appears to be the bottom part of a dress- likely a plain silk bodice that shattered over the years. It was removed at the seam, leaving hook and eye closure at left side intact. That said- it will need tailored to nip waist for a perfect fit, I'm leaving that to the new owner so that it can be made to fit them. There are no stains or holes- and the lining of the coat is delightful!! Labeled B Frankel women's tailor Riverside (in California).
